Best Pizza & Brew Escondido: A Slice of Heaven Awaits

Had an awesome time at Best Pizza and Brew in Escondido. The food was seriously good — the pizza was hot, cheesy, and loaded with fresh toppings. We also grabbed some wings and garlic knots, and they totally hit the spot. Shoutout to Mari — she was super friendly and on top of everything. Really made us feel welcome and taken care of, which makes a big difference. Cool vibe, great beer selection, and solid service all around. Definitely coming back!

Today was my first time there what a great experience the food was delicious all my beauty people told me to try it so I did I found my new pizza spot it is Wood Fired Pizza it's spot on absolutely delicious and the people that work there are so nice I had a procedure done in my leg and I couldn't walk in to get my pickup order and the girl brought it out to me with a smile we are originally from Boston have lived out here for 30 years and we're big Foodies their wings are to live for I love that you can choose which side of the wing that you want cuz I like the flats my husband likes the other side but it was about me today LOL and that sweet chili sauce is on point it was absolutely delicious all their food is so good and the salads are spectacular I don't always write reviews but this definitely deserves one welcome to Escondido and may you stay long and prosper. I didn't even have to ask for side sauce napkins and utensils everything was put together with a smile outstanding customer service I even called them personally to tell them what my experience was like I really needed that today and I'm hooked

Solid food, good bar in a cool atmosphere. Pizza by the slice and some other decent appetizers. The wings could’ve been a little bit crispy, but had a good vinegar sauce for the buffalo side. The pizza crust was thin and cooked perfectly and had a great crunch, but was still chewy, which means they are cooking at a high enough temperature. Some cool merchandise and an awesome self-serve water station so you’re never having to wait to refill water and gives the kids something to go do I can definitely get busy for sporting event days and seating can become a premium some outdoor seats but has a good indoor outdoor atmosphere

This place is fun and busy with a cool alternative sports/SoCal vibe. The menu has interesting variety and the ingredients seem high quality. People seemed to be loving their cocktails and spritzers. It serves a lot of different pizzas by the slice, which they warm up for you when you order it. The pizzas were inventive, but I didn't enjoy mine because it was still cold inside. No one came to see how we were, and they were so busy, there wasn't an opportunity to grab someone and ask for my food to be heated. Orders were taking a long time to come out. I'd go back to see if these issues get better at a different time. I think we were there at around 7 on a weeknight. TVs are throughout. It has a lot of open air area (I kept my coat on inside in January), with fire features you could be sit at in a couple of places. They have a patio with space heaters. EDIT: Went back for lunch. Not as busy, asked to make sure my pizza was thoroughly hot and it was. The garden salad had very fresh ingredients and was great. Our order taker was sweet and someone stopped by our table twice. Changed review to 5 stars!

I love their specials! I got two slices of pizza and a beer for just $8 — such a great deal. The cashier was super friendly and even helped me pick out my beer. The place has a great atmosphere and is kid-friendly too. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We went there last weekend and last night. Great pizza, very good beer, excellent service. However closes at 10pm on saturday night

As someone new to the area I’m always trying to find a good pizza spot. From the moment I called on the phone and was feeling indecisive their wonderful employee walked me through their best sellers so I decided on that half and half. I would highly suggest doing this as they have options. Additionally the garlic knots were Parking is a bit tough when busy, but overall I would saying that you should look at parking on the street in case you don’t want to park in their lot. The lots tight and wouldn’t recommend for oversized vehicles. Lastly, I would suggest the buffalo chicken pizza

I’m definitely coming back!! Added some salami, pepperoni, salami to the Greek salad AMAZING!!! Slice of bbq chicken pizza, calamari and the sweet chili crispy cauliflower I’m gonna be back for some burgers You neeeeeed to eat here
